DÔRGVA plays folk metal or folk rock with melodies in the
Swedish folk music tradition.
20-year-old jubilee DÔRGVA was started in 1996 with the intention to
create a roots-based music with starting point Hälsingland and modern heavy rock.
The influences come in addition to folk music from near and far,
mainly from hard rock / metal, country and blues as well as all sorts of progressive modern music.
Just pick something here and there throw in the sauce to say.
One can for example In a single song, find melody from Hälsingland,
heavy-distorted hard-wrinkle and guitar solo with influences from both blues and middle east.
